We perceive the word Sukoon as something which we love to do and attach our being to that object. For example, some people drink chai then they associate the feeling of Sukoon with it. They take time out from their tasks to enjoy the moment of simply drinking the chai.
But why? If Sukoon is that plain and simple why do people go to the Himalayas to do meditation, live under harsh weather conditions, and eat whatever they can and yet they spend half of their lifetime try achieving the desired state!
Every day, subconsciously we let our mind run ultimately, thinking of what, how, when and why. Our inner ‘unsolved’ struggles stored inside we go on doing the daily chores of being an aware and responsible adult.
For a very small mere second when our mind is still, thoughtless, as clear as a bright blue sky…those inner struggles visit us uninvited. Suddenly, the mind gets into a quick-thinking mode, as it had been only waiting to start. This cycle goes on until, we become aware of the internal issue and reach the root cause of it where we are vulnerable, seeing our inner state wounded by the inter-personal relationship problem.
The strength it takes to visit those dark corners of the confined vaults in our consciousness, and coming out of it to the light takes much more strength and force in us.
There exist many ways to travel this path some include a loving emotionally aware companion, meditation, and even psychedelics, all the things where we trust and can perform in a deep state of faith. Yet, the most effective way is being the one yourself.
“The only way out is through.” — Robert Frost.
When we choose an outside securement other than ourselves we often attach our being with that ‘other’ which is outside of us. Later on, when the course of the ‘other’ changes we feel betrayed and now more helpless than ever.
Only a few courageous do and they do in such a way they shine out in the world! But they are exceptions.
Divine, Guru, the master who is transcended, and enlightened may guide us but only can show the way, the path. We have to have the strength to do so having faith and belief in the unknown abstract, supreme.
When, we emerge out and see the world, people and relationships in a beautiful Awareness. The feeling compared to being born again. And be the one to create healthy boundaries where we do not let any despair stored again. For example, after clearing the cupboard we often keep it protected from outside dust and try to keep it clean longer. With time and experience, we become so mindful we naturally go deep into reminiscence and resolve before we move on to do any other task.
You do all this work, which takes so much courage, attention, energy and vulnerability the universe works with accord to you and clears your path of any such struggles as long as your connection with the Formless persists.
“Life is not a problem. To look at it as a problem is to take the wrong view. It is a mystery to be lived, loved, experienced.”
